Franz Mayer is a founding member and former Chairman of the Supervisory Board of verico SCE as well as a former member of the Management Board of mplan eg; he retired from the Management Board in 2017. He has over 30 years of experience in consulting and certification, including EU-ETS. He has been and continues to be involved in the monitoring and certification of companies in the power generation, ceramics, glass manufacturing, pulp and paper, metals and non-ferrous metals manufacturing, and service industries. He is a certified hydrologist, environmental verifier and expert in emissions trading and waste management, as well as an auditor for quality and environmental management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EMAS).
