We at verico SCE (Societas Cooperativa Europaea), a European cooperative based in Langenbach, near Munich Airport, have a special organizational structure among all accredited testing organizations.
We provide services completely without our own staff, but exclusively through the contractual involvement of our cooperative members, which is regulated in the Articles of Association and the Rules of Procedure. All our members are freelancers and small businesses from Germany, the EU and non-European countries.

The comprehensive technical competence of our experts in the industry, as surveyors or experts and the wide spread of expertise allows a customized, order-compliant and cost-efficient processing of our orders and projects, such as:

We at verico SCE (Societas Cooperativa Europaea), a European cooperative based in Bavaria, have a unique organizational structure among all accredited verification bodies. Our members from several EU member countries are all small businesses and freelancers. We use the legal form of a cooperative to provide accredited services and provide a platform for cross-industry services. As members, we are all owners of verico SCE and each of us has an inherent interest in delivering quality services that exceed customer expectations.
The individual members of the cooperative act as independent experts and auditors who are committed in their activities to our quality standards laid down in the Articles of Association and the Quality Manual.
In turn, the cooperative itself provides some shared resources. The inspection body ensures the accreditation of verico SCE, provides internal controls of audits, and professional training of cooperative members. Thus, verico SCE, is the world’s only accredited cooperative in the areas of ISO 14065 and ISO 50001.
General administrative activities and also management are carried out through internal service contracts at the registered office of the cooperative in Langenbach in Germany. verico SCE is controlled by the Supervisory Board, which currently consists of four members from three EU countries.
Strictly adhering to the principle of either certifying or consulting, we support companies, industry, governments and NGOs on issues related to climate change and carbon management.

All members of verico SCE can draw on decades of experience as experts in various industries, as greenhouse gas verifiers, in quality assurance, accreditation and professional development. This comprehensive expertise enables us to offer the following services to authorities, associations and companies:
- the audit of country or company-wide inventories,
- the establishment of quality control measures in monitoring, or
- Supporting the development and introduction of appropriate MRV regulations in a new emissions trading system or

§ 2 Purpose and object
1. the purpose of the company is to promote the acquisition and the economy of the members through joint business operations in the fields of environmental protection, climate protection, sustainability, energy and resource management.
2. the joint business operation includes first of all the provision of testing and certification services which require an accreditation of a testing or certification body recognized in the European Union.
3. the joint business operation also includes the provision of independent consulting, planning and appraisal services for companies, associations and public authorities, which are to be accomplished in the joint activity of the cooperative.
