Environmental engineer with focus on CO2 – and sustainability markets. Approved auditor for ISCC, REDcert and the Italian national scheme (sustainability of biofuels and other products), CDM/VCS/UER (international CO2 -markets) and the German Emissions Trading Scheme. In addition, also experience as an external reviewer for submitted projects to the UNFCCC and Gold Standard, and as a World Bank consultant for waste and energy. Sergio, with VERICO, has been the leading consultant for training in Latin America (auditor training), organized by GIZ and other organizations.
