used to work as an engineer in the oil and gas industry before joining the SGS CDM team in 2006 to work on climate change. Two years later, he moved to Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC) as Product Manager East Asia of the CDM business until 2014. He then worked as a clean energy project development expert for asset management institutions and participated in the technical review of China ETS projects for certification by China Classification Society (CCSC). During his professional career he gained detailed insight and experience in accreditation management of certification bodies and CO2 related schemes according to CDM, Gold Standard, CO2 footprint, ISO50001 etc. From April to August 2020, he worked as a local technical expert for UER projects for verico SCE.
