Member of the supervisory board of verico SCE, is a graduate geologist and has been managing director of Climate Change Services for about 10 years. From different perspectives, he has gained profound experience in the implementation of climate protection projects in national and international emissions trading (e.g. auditing of various JI / CDM / VER projects, e.g. advising projects in the energy sector of an investment bank). Since 2004 he is active in climate change mitigation and MRV (monitoring, reporting, verification) as EU-ETS expert (“full-scope” as well as aviation) and validation & verification of international climate change mitigation projects. Mr. Beckmann is an ISO 50001 auditor, EDLG auditor and since 2016 has been involved in the verification of F-Gas inventories acc. EU Ver. 517/2014 active. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in capacity building MRV for international institutions.
