As importers of equipment (air conditioners, dryers), which are
placed on the market pre-filled with F-gas refrigerants,
the European subsidiaries of the
SAMSUNG Group must report their imported quantities and
stocks of F-gases annually in accordance with EU Regulation 517/2014 (F-gas Regulations)
and must hold sufficient quota to cover the reported F-gas quantities.
Since 2017, Verico SCE has verified the declarations of conformity and all
associated documentation for the F-Gas reporting of the approx. 20
European SAMSUNG companies affected by the regulation.
This includes sometimes very complex inventories with tens of thousands of
individual transactions, which can be assessed using a sample-based approach of
the individual customs and shipping documents, where the specific
product descriptions are matched and checked.
Following a successful audit, each individual company receives a
Verification document, which is submitted to the competent EU authority.
