From different perspectives, he has gained profound experience in the implementation of climate protection projects in national and international emissions trading (e.g. auditing of various JI \/ CDM \/ VER projects, e.g. advising projects in the energy sector of an investment bank). Since 2004 he is active in climate change mitigation and MRV (monitoring, reporting, verification) as EU-ETS expert (&#8220;full-scope&#8221; as well as aviation) and validation &amp; verification of international climate change mitigation projects. Mr. Beckmann is an ISO 50001 auditor, EDLG auditor and since 2016 has been involved in the verification of F-Gas inventories acc. EU Ver. 517\/2014 active. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in capacity building MRV for international
